It was definitely a paisley boots kind of day, so the infamous paisley boots for which this blog is named after made they debut appearance for the 2013 school year.
In other news, 5 weeks from tomorrow will be my mid year break and I will be USA bound! Couldn't be looking forward to it any more after waiting for the bus in the rain. Oh the joys of public transportation and rainy season in Costa Rica...

Today marks one year of my move to Costa Rica! It seems that I may also actually be in the process of obtaining residency here as well...

It was actually my 6th grade class that reminded me last week that our "anniversary" was coming soon.  I put a star on our calendar for important dates, and there is a star on May 3 for our field trip.  They said I needed to put a star on May 7 since that was our first day together. Aww my little babies...makes my heart smile that they remember the day we became a class family :)
